IN FLOORINGS PTY LTD was established on 5 March 2015 in New South Wales, Australia. Founded by a team of passionate tradespeople and materials specialists, the company was built on a simple belief: every floor tells a story, and that story deserves to be told beautifully.
From our base in the Bayside Council area — serving Rockdale, Brighton-Le-Sands, Banksia, and Kyeemagh, approximately 12–13 km from the Sydney CBD — we have grown from a small local contractor into a trusted name in microcement, polished concrete, epoxy resin, and decorative flooring solutions. Our founders recognised early that the Australian market was hungry for European-style seamless floor finishes — particularly microcement — which combines the raw elegance of concrete with the practicality demanded by modern homes and businesses.
Since 5 March 2015, we have completed over 500 projects across Sydney, the Greater NSW region, and beyond. Every project we deliver is inspected against AS 1884 (floor coverings) and manufacturer specifications for microcement and resin systems. We use only premium-grade materials sourced from certified suppliers, because the finish you see on day one should still look exceptional a decade later.
Microcement and polished concrete are inherently sustainable flooring choices — applied directly over existing substrates, they eliminate demolition waste and reduce material consumption. Many of our systems are low-VOC and water-based, safe for families, pets, and the environment.

Microcement is not the same as polished concrete — but both are beautiful, durable, and right at home in modern Australian interiors.
Microcement (also called micro-topping or micro-screed) is a polymer-modified cementitious coating applied in ultra-thin layers of 2–3 mm over existing floors, walls, and surfaces. Unlike conventional concrete, microcement requires no demolition of existing substrates — it bonds directly to tiles, timber, plywood, and concrete. Once sealed with a polyurethane or epoxy topcoat, it becomes waterproof, hard-wearing, and easy to clean, making it ideal for bathrooms, kitchens, and commercial spaces.
Polished concrete involves mechanically grinding and densifying an existing concrete slab to achieve a smooth, reflective finish. It's ideal for new builds or major renovations where a concrete slab is already in place. Microcement, by contrast, is an overlay product — it can go on top of almost any substrate and is far thinner, making it the go-to choice for renovations where height and weight constraints matter.
Beyond microcement, IN FLOORINGS PTY LTD works with a range of cementitious products including self-levelling underlayments (SLUs), fibre-reinforced render, polymer-modified adhesives, and rapid-setting repair mortars. All products are selected to meet Australian Standards (AS 3958 for tile adhesives, AS 3740 for waterproofing in wet areas) and are compatible with the diverse substrate conditions found across NSW's residential and commercial building stock.
