We typically work on areas from 5 m² upward. Smaller areas such as a single bathroom are very common and very achievable with microcement. For very small feature panels or splashbacks, get in touch and we'll advise on what's practical for your specific space.
Microcement is typically ready for light foot traffic within 24 hours of the final sealer coat. Full hardness and water resistance is achieved after 7 days. We recommend avoiding prolonged water pooling and heavy cleaning chemicals for the first two weeks to allow the sealer to fully cure.
Yes — one of microcement's greatest advantages is that it can be applied directly over sound, well-adhered existing tiles, concrete, and timber substrates. This eliminates demolition costs and keeps project timelines short. Our team will assess your existing substrate condition before confirming suitability.
